CROSSGATES PRACTICE SCHEDULE
WGHS/WGMS PRACTICE SCHEDULE
MAC MEET: What a fun meet with sooooo many lifetime bests! We had a bunch of swimmers who tackled their first racing experience and looked like pros. We are all learning every day and we are so proud of our teammates! Hope you can join us at the next on in May at Gunderson HS.
SUMMER INFO: Our Summer Race Team registration is now open to all current members for the 6/10-7/21 session at Willow Glen (with classes on MW, TTh or M-Th at 9:15-10am, 3:15-4pm, 4-4:45pm, 4:45-5:30pm and 5:30-6:15pm.) Do not delay to get the first choice of classes!!! Non-current members can register starting 4/1.
Our summer programming is open and ready for registration. Besides private lessons, we also offer swim camp and junior lifeguard camp. Check out our programs here (also on the “swim lesson & camp” tab of the website. There are many ways these programs can align with your regular swim team practice.
RENO MEET: Looking for a great meet to attend this summer? Come join us in mid-July at the July 12-14 Silver State Championship meet in Reno. This is a team travel meet for the JV+, Prep, Varsity and Senior swimmers (meaning they are chaperoned, work with coaches/chaperones to get their meals, have lodging, transportation and team apparel provided.) All Race Team, Gold and JV swimmers are welcome to attend with parent supervision. It is ok to have JV+, Prep, Varsity and Senior swimmers also attend with a parent and not be in the chaperoned “team travel” group. To learn more, check out the events page.
CROSSGATES SWIMMERS: Our time at Crossgates ends on April 13. Your swimmer has choices if they would like to finish out the remainder of the Spring session at Willow Glen. Race Team will be assessed $230 for 2x/week or $345 for 4x/week for the remainder of the Spring Race Team session (4/17-5/23) by adding to the WGMS session.
Monthly fee based groups (Gold, JV, JV+ and Prep) will have no changes to their billing (as they are enrolled through July) UNLESS they are dropping mid-month (and dues would be prorated for April.)
Please help with our planning by filling out this form if your swimmer will extend or end their session in mid-April.
SAFE SPORT: USA Swimming Safe Sport staff is hosting Zoom trainings for parents, minor athletes in order for families to know about SafeSport and keeping our sport safe. All participants will need to register to attend training.
Parent Trainings:
· Wednesday, April 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET – Register
· Wednesday, May 8 at 8:00 p.m. ET – Register
· Wednesday, June 5 at 8:00 p.m. ET – Register
Athlete Trainings (12-17 years old):
· Thursday, April 11 at 8:00 p.m. ET – Register
· Thursday, May 9 at 8:00 p.m. ET – Register
· Thursday, June 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET – Register
PRIVATE LESSONS: There are just a few open lessons at Crossgates on Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30pm lessons with Coach Marissa R on the events page under “job signup”. Your account will be charged directly for the lessons.
