FINAL WEEK OF THE REGULAR SEASON: It’s a big week with 2 meets this week. We have our trio headed up to Novato for Sectionals (go Aly, Miguel and Hannah!!!) Plus our final team Block Party meet of the season. (RSVP for the Block Party by Tuesday.) Our last day of the season will be our Sunday Awards Day (7/21) for all swimmers in all groups. We will meet at the middle school pool deck for a ceremony with special gifts for all, followed by Kona Ice!

RENO MEET: We just returned from an epic weekend with many stories to tell about the wild weekend we spent in Nevada. We had over 50 lifetime best times, survived summer storms, pool closures, traffic on 80, the Lavender festival and finished with a bag full of ribbons, a runner-up 11 year old high point champion (Avery) and a 14 year old high point champion (Gabby.) A weekend filled with memories indeed. If you are interested in learning more about this meet, let me know (and RSVP on the events page for the 2025 meet!)

MIDDLE SCHOOL POOL: We are still uncertain when the lap pool will reopen at the middle school. All afternoon Race Team classes will continue to swim at the high school this week. If your 9:00 JV/Prep swimmer or 9:15 Race Team swimmer would like to shift into a different group for the time being, please let me know.

PARENT HELP: Running the Block Party events is a great way for swimmers to get solid races in, but we still need support with parents becoming Stroke & Turn officials. They have streamlined the process and more info can be found here. Many of the criteria can be taken care of online before our new season begins. All Officials earn $100 credit per off-site meet day worked towards your BAY dues!!!

SAFESPORT HELP!: We still need TWO swimmers ages 13+ to complete the 30 minute training course in order for our team to be eligible to apply for Safe Sport status. This online training is to help everyone recognize appropriate boundaries and personal safety. To learn more about how to complete the training, check this out. (There are online zoom classes OR you can do it on your own through the USA Swimming LEARN portal on their website- scroll to the bottom of the document under “USA Swimming Platform.”)

FALL REGISTRATION: If your swimmer would like to join us for the new season starting August 26, be sure to register NOW. ALL swimmers in ALL groups must register for the new season if they wish to join us in the Fall. Swimmers are not automatically enrolled in the new season. This registration is for Blue, Yellow, Gold, JV, JV+, Prep, Varsity and Senior swimmers. Details can be found on the registration link or by clicking on the large yellow “Fall Registration” button on the homepage.

PRIVATE LESSONS: We have weeklong sessions available here or individual private lessons available here. Get a boost for your swimmer!

SUMMER CAMPS: We have a few more camps coming up that are PERFECT for our BAY swimmers:

July 22-25 Junior Lifeguard Camp from 10-noon (6-9th graders only)
July 29-August 1 Swim Camp from 10-1pm (1-9th graders only)
